DREAM Collaborative

The DREAM (Diversity, Respect, Encouragement, Acceptance, Marin) Collaborative was started by a group of County employees in 2013 interested in promoting diversity and inclusion in Marin. The DREAM Collaborative has organized several diversity mixers thus far. With continuing support from the County, we hope to host one to two mixer events per year; organize three Dare to Dream Equity Lunch and Learns, and create an employee story bank. The events are opened to all employees at the County.

The DREAM Collaborative's mission statement is: To positively influence and transform the County of Marin’s organization and workforce by promoting and celebrating cross-cultural understanding and inclusivity.

The DREAM Collaborative organizers include representatives from four affinity groups (COMAEA, MAPLE, M.C.O.L.E., MarinSAGA) as well as employees across nine departments.
